I’ve spent my career supporting families and children — as an
author, parenting mentor, entrepreneur, and advocate. My books,
Raising Your Kids Without Losing Your Cool, Parenting Your Teen
Without Losing Your Cool, and Loving Yourself Without Losing
Your Cool are all about offering practical, compassionate guidance
for parents navigating the ups and downs of family life.
In 2024, my family and I connected with Shelter Movers, and it was
immediate and deeply personal. Yannick and I have always believed
every child deserves to grow up safe, supported, and free from
harm, and Shelter Movers makes that belief a reality for families
fleeing abuse.
I’m proud to be a passionate advocate for this incredible
organization, and I’m honoured to serve as Co-Chair for the
A Moving Affair Gala 2025. Protecting the most vulnerable —
especially children — starts with giving them a path to safety,
dignity and hope.
As Yannick and I often say: “We must ensure that children have
both the physical and emotional care they need to grow into
strong, healthy adults — and become the future custodians of
our country.”
Partnering with Shelter Movers means helping create a future
where every child can grow up free from violence, and every family
can move toward a brighter future.
